Project Overview

TWIN-TECH strengthens the capacity of vocational education and training (VET) to adapt to the challenges of the twin transition—green and digital. The project develops an innovative four-pillar VET programme that equips learners, teachers, and trainers with future-oriented skills aligned with European frameworks such as GreenComp, DigComp, and EntreComp. A key component is the development of AI-supported business simulation tools, connecting education with real labour market needs and fostering collaboration between VET institutions, industry stakeholders, and regional actors.

Main Objectives

  • integrate green and digital competencies into VET programmes,
  • improve collaboration between VET providers and the labour market,
  • support teacher development through new methodologies and digital tools,
  • create more engaging, practical learning pathways for students and adult learners,
  • enhance the resilience and adaptability of the VET sector to future changes.

Key Activities

  • development of a four-pillar curriculum consisting of 12 modules,
  • labour market needs analysis focusing on green and digital transformation,
  • design of an AI-powered business simulation platform,
  • pilot testing in all partner countries,
  • teacher training and thematic workshops,
  • dissemination activities and organisation of multiplier events.

Expected Results

  • a comprehensive learning pathway addressing green, digital, and entrepreneurial skills,
  • an interactive simulation platform accessible to VET institutions,
  • participation of more than 120 learners and 30 teachers in pilot activities,
  • policy recommendations for integrating new competencies into VET curricula,
